Free Plot Scheme Gujarat 2022: The scheme of providing free residential plots to houseless families for building construction was being implemented sporadically in Gujarat.

The scheme was revised five years ago on 1st 2017 on Gujarat Foundation Day. The Gram Sabha was asked to spread wide publicity on the reform resolution published by the Panchayat and Village Development Department to provide free plots of household plots of maximum 100 square meters but not less than 50 square meters to homeless families living in villages.

The scheme constituted committees to dispose of applications for free homestead plots and avoid delays. Out of which the Land Committee was asked to dispose of the allotment applications at the beginning of every month.

  • The detail commissioner has also sent the application form, its template, Talati certificate and the applicant's letter of undertaking along with the order issued to the DDO last week.
  • So that applications for free plot allotment from homeless families in rural areas can be quickly collected and disposed of.
