Where can I use my Finance Now card?

You can use your card in New Zealand at any EFTPOS machine or at any ATM displaying the Westpac or SBS Bank logo. You can also use it as an official ID at over 1,500 Finance Now retailers.

How do I pay for my card?

You can pay through internet banking or visit any Westpac Bank branch. Remember to take our bank account number: 03-0931-0358991-00 and use your account number in the reference field. You cannot pay directly to your Finance Now card.

Do I have to pay the full balance/how much do I have to pay each month?

A minimum payment of 3% of the your balance or $20 is require – which ever greater.

I have funds on my card. Why can’t I use it?

Even funds have paid your account, it take time for the fund to clear. The average clearance period for funds to clear is 3-4 working days. You are your card one the is the clear

Can I use my Finance Now card abroad?

No. The is Finance Now card used through out New Zealand but not overseas.

What will be my credit limit?

Your credit limit assess beys on your current economic situation (income and exposure debt). Your card limit re-evaluated at the time of the card activation and ill be based on your updated credit status.

If I don’t activate my card, will I have to pay a fee?

Activating your card is there and fees only a apply once you can mast start using your card. Refer to your Disclosure Statement for a complete list of fees.

What are the fees/costs for using my card?

Interest rate from 19.95% p.a. Apply on Finance Now Cards. A 6 monthly fee of $17.50 applies to the first card transaction. It included in the your first monthly statement. A $0.25 transaction fee applies to EFTPOS transactions under $20. Refer to your Disclosure Statement for a complete list of fees.

Can I add additional cardholders?

Finance Card is the offer to primary account holders only.

Schlinig Potato Soup

 Schilling Potato Soup

This recipe is very simple and has many ingredients. Tea is low in calories, super tasty and filling

To make this soup: potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, cabbage, vegetable broth and some spices are required

These ingredients are required to make this soup

1 large white onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic minced

8 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and diced

2 large carrots peeled and finely chopped

1 small head green cabbage thinly sliced

4 cups vegetable stock

2 cups of water

1 bay leaf

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

In a large pot, add your garlic and onion and cook until they begin to soften. Do not use any oil for this, but if you find it sticking, you can add about 1 tbsp of water to the pot. After about 3 minutes add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine. Bring the soup to a boil, then simmer until the potatoes and carrots are tender, about 20 minutes. Check with a fork to make sure it is nicely cooked. Check the masala and let it simmer till it cooks properly. If cooked, serve it in a big bowl.

*Soup will store well in the fridge for up to 5 days.
